Overview

Urū Sports is an online global platform that connects athletes and teams. Athletes find teams that have unfilled playing positions. The website has 400+ athletes, 50+ teams from 25+ different counties on the current MVP platform.

Project Summary

Athletes who are looking to join a team need efficient search engines to find the right opportunities along with an organized profile page that promote players. These were the pages of focus for this project.

Goals

  • Redesign the search and profile features for an athletics platform
  • To bring a more intuitive and easy process for athletes to find playing opportunities and promote themselves

User Research

Our client initially provided us with users which included, athletes and coaches. Since athletes are the primary persona, current student athletes were recruited for interviews. Interviews were conducted 25 - 30 minutes in-person which was accompanied by simple user testing with the paper prototype.
