Taylor Leigh Bromante - Baltimore-based poet

I’ve had the greatest honor in working with Baltimore-based poet, Taylor Bromante.

In collaboration with the poet, I shaped the visual language of her cover—guiding the process from concept to final composition. I assisted in curating symbolic props and selecting locations that echoed the emotional landscape of her work. On set, I directed the flow—body placement, posture, the relationship between the subject and her surroundings—crafting moments that felt both intimate and intentional. I handled the final edits with a careful eye and assembled the visual assets into a cover that feels like an extension of her voice: quiet, bold, and deeply felt.

Following the success of her debut, I was invited once again to craft the visual world for her next release, Tumulto. As before, I guided the session—shaping the atmosphere through staging, pose, and presence. But this time, the tone shifted: Tumulto called for something darker, more visceral. We leaned into shadow, weight, and tension—allowing the visuals to echo the storm beneath her words. I led the final edits with that same intention: to distill emotion into image, to let the cover feel like a breath held just before release.
